Citrus Caramel Apple Pork Chops by Kawaling Pinoy

Brush pork chops with oil. Season with 1 sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®.

Heat a cast-iron skillet or thick-bottomed pan over medium-high heat. Add porkchops and cook for about 2 to 3mins on each side or until lightly seared. Remove from the pan and keep it warm.

Wipe down the skillet as needed. Add 1tbsp of the butter, and when it begins to melt, add the apples in a single layer. Cook, turning as needed, for about 30 secs or until lightly caramelized but still firm. Remove from the pan and keep warm.

Lower the heat to medium. Add the remaining tbsp of butter to the pan. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.

Add orange juice and NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream, stirring constantly.​

Add cinnamon and nutmeg and stir to combine. Continue cooking for about 1 to 2mins, or until the sauce begins to thicken. Season with remaining ½ sachet of MAGGI® Magic Sarap®.​

Add the pork chops and apples to the pan. Serve in the same pan to keep warm.
